Welcome to the Normal West High School Cycling Club webpage. Here you'll find scheduled events we participate in throughout the year, updated announcements, social media outlets, and shared photos.
Our Mission
Our goal is to promote cycling at Normal West High School and within the Bloomington-Normal area. By doing this, we encourage more people in the community to ride bikes for transportation and recreational uses. During meetings, we want every student to feel welcome, and hope they learned something new or useful as well.
Meetings
During meetings we will typically go on groups rides. If we don't go out and ride, we'll have a clinic or other workout planned. In summertime, we may attend a few charity rides, these are not mandatory... but add to the fun outside of the season. Local bike shops and clubs may also sponsor some events we go to.
